The Tippecanoe Amateur Radio Association was formed in February of 1951 to serve the community through the use of amateur radio.
We offer education and support to new and established members, as well as providing vital communications to served agencies during times of disaster.
We currently offer our members:
- Monthly Presentations on Amateur Radio
- Access to a Network of Experienced Operators
- Online Chat for Help and Discussions
Meeting Notice
This month's meeting time and location have changed!!!
The next TARA meeting is Wednesday, September 9th at 6:00 pm at the Tippecanoe County Public Library, Meeting Room B, located at 627 South Street in Lafayette.
Note new time and location!!!
The meeting will also be broadcast online via Google Meet.

Amateur Radio Testing (VE Testing)
The Tippecanoe County Volunteer Examiner Team, a member of the Laurel VEC, provides free amateur radio license examinations in Tippecanoe County, Indiana.
